RB Merganser x2MF. These were different birds from yesterday. Redshankx2, Curlew x2, BH Gull x8.
Billingham Beck. Teal x14, Redshank x6.
Portarck Marsh. Shovelar x1 M, Mute Swan x2. I also spotted a small wader about the size ov a redshank with a downcurved bill, it was sandy in colour on the wings and back with no wingbars or white rump and breast was creamy brown with no sign of spots or barrs it burst out off the grassland so only got a couple of seconds view before it disappered in to the reedbed, i have looked in numerous books but can not confirm any bird ????. Any ideas would be appriecated. Also a cracking male cormarant full breeding plumage, apart from that a cold and wet day.
